Plot Summary/Synopsis

Emilia Olivares finds that changing from a penniless immigrant to a millionaire does not give her the happiness she was expecting. She makes the transformation through an evil scheme but that scheme then traps her in a web of lies and deceit. Becoming a millionaire had been a delicious daydream but now she is trapped in a living nightmare.

She finds love but she rejects it and instead falls into a trap with a wicked woman who wants to defraud her late husband’s estate. By pretending to be someone she isn’t she helps the woman gain control of a vast fortune and that is when she becomes trapped.

It is while she is assuming another’s identity that she again meets the man she fell in love with and that love soon develops into a raging passion. But she has been living a lie and when that lie is revealed her love is lost once more.

Not only does she lose her love but she also faces a train of events that could destroy her totally.
