Plot Summary/Synopsis

When her family is virtually ruined, Azucena Garcia is forced to move to Bogota, Columbia. In order to survive, she begins working for the Rivero Del Castillo flower. It is during this struggle to rise from poverty that Azucena finds love. The object of Azucena’s affection is Jose Angel Del Castillo. An heir to his father’s fortune and president of the company, Jose Angel is hardworking, handsome, and kind-hearted. He loves Azucena, but is engaged to Andrea Santacruz. Also standing in the way of Azucena’s and Jose Angel’s happiness is Vinicio Rivero Del Castillo, Jose Angel’s younger brother. Vinicio is greedy and jealous of Jose Angel, and he will stop at nothing to steal the family fortune. Caught in the treachery and deceit of the Rivero Del Castillo family, Azucena and Jose Angel must fight for honor, but more importantly, they must fight for love.
