Plot Summary/Synopsis
Me Llaman Lolita is a story of forbidden love. For as long as she can remember, Lolita Rengifo has been in love with Esteban Buenahora. Lolita is a child, but she loves with a passion beyond her years. Although unaware of Lolita’s love for the handsome Esteban, Lolita’s mother, Dolores, and her husband, Rigoberto are distrustful of Esteban. Despite her heart wrenching protests, Lolita finds herself separated from Esteban. Esteban feels guilt for loving the innocent Lolita, but he thinks that she might be his soul mate. Six years pass by, but when Lolita and Esteban are reunited their passion for one another is even stronger. The ill-fated lovers must fight for what they believe in, but when it is suspected that Esteban may be Lolita’s biological father, it appears that they may be fighting for a love that is doomed.
