Plot Summary/Synopsis
Written by renowned Chilean author Sergio Vodanovic, Los Títeres is the story of Artemisa Myknonos. When she was just seventeen, Artemisa moved to Chile with her father, Constantino to live with the Godán family. Although Constantino and Elías Godán are childhood friends, that doesn’t mean that their children will get along. Artemisa is relentlessly bullied by Adriana Godán, who is jealous of Artemisa’s radiant beauty and charming personality. After her father’s unexpected death, Artemisa flees to Ecuador to forget her past. Over the years, Artemisa’s beauty grows, and so does her fortune. Now that she is a successful, businesswoman, she decides that she must face her past. Twenty years later she finds herself back in Chile, facing her nemesis again, and Adriana has only grown more bitter and jealous with the passing years.
