Plot Summary/Synopsis
Leonela is a beautiful woman who has remained chaste and saved herself for her wedding night. In a cruel twist of fate on the eve of her wedding she is raped by a drunk who loves her and wants her for himself. The rape is too much for her fiancé and he drops her.
Even many of her friends turn against her because of what has happened. But Leonela has a strong and indomitable spirit and she sets out to overcome these setbacks. She becomes a very successful attorney and at the same time becomes hardened to the realities of the world around her.
At the same time the man who raped her studies law in prison and, when his sentence has been served, he emerges to become a lawyer in his own right. There will come a time when these two will face each other across a courtroom and love may emerge but nothing is assured and there is a child of the rape to be considered.
