Plot Summary/Synopsis
La Saga: Negocia de Familia is a story of love, family, and betrayal. The plot revolves around the Manriques, a family entrenched in Bogota’s seedy criminal underworld. During the political chaos of the 1930s, Tomas Manrique flees his hometown and brings his wife, Josefina, and his son, Pedro to Bogota. Tomas works in a factory to support his family, but when he continuously has trouble making ends meet he knows that his dream to become a successful, honest businessman may never come true. Along with his friend Pascual, Tomas enters into a world of crime that affects the fate of his family for generations to come. When the villainous Pascual kills Tomas over money troubles, Pedro vows to avenge his father’s death. On his wedding night, Pedro murders Pascual and brings a horrible curse upon the Manrique family. Negocia de Familia is filled with treachery and deception, but also with passion and romance as each generation fights to overpower the Manrique curse with love.
