Plot Summary/Synopsis

The sins of a wicked and greedy father come back to destroy the life of his son in this story or wickedness and revenge. Fernando takes control of a neighboring farm by killing it’s rightful owner and years later Fernando’s son falls in love with one of the daughters of the murdered man.

At the same time the murdered man’s other daughter who had been separated from her sibling comes seeking revenge for the death of her father. She too falls in love with Fernando’s son and the need for revenge is joined by a jealousy that affects both girls.

At the novela’s climax both girls will discover that they are related and join forces to avenge the death of their father. At the same time love begins to gain some control over the girls and one girl will find a lasting future with the son of the man who killed her father.

The Revenge was first aired in Venezuela in 1989. It ran for a total of 247 episodes and was seen in several countries outside of South America.
