Plot Summary/Synopsis

La Fea Más Bella is based on the popular Columbian telenovela Betty La Fea. Lety is brilliant, ambitious, and kind-hearted. Unfortunately, Lety’s virtues often go unnoticed in world obsessed with appearances. Lety is the ugly duckling at the powerful fashion design company at which she works. Despite her stellar education and resume, Lety is overshadowed by her beautiful, fashionable coworkers. With her intelligence and extensive experience, Lety deserves to be running her own company, but instead she is forced to settle as an assistant to the handsome young president, Fernando. Fernando may not recognize his homely assistant’s talents right away, but Lety is no stranger to adversity. Each day, Lety learns more about the business and she makes it her mission to climb the corporate ladder using brains instead of beauty.
