Plot Summary/Synopsis

One simple mistake in a hospital has far-reaching implications for a young girl and her family. The mistake means that 17 year old Juana is artificially inseminated and becomes pregnant.

The father of the baby is married but when he finds out that he is the father of the child that Juana is carrying he begins to fall in love with the young girl. His wife is desperate to keep them apart and will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.

Together with her father they frame her husband with the disappearance of another man and Juana and the baby’s father are forced to flee to the mountains. There they face other trials and it is in those remote and harsh conditions that the baby is born. No long after the baby is born the fugitives are discovered by those who wish to harm them.

The series ran for 153 episodes with the first episode airing on February 5, 2002
