Plot Summary/Synopsis
This is a modern day version of Cinderella and her Prince Charming set in a tropical paradise.
Maria is born into the tropical paradise that is owned by her parents. They have died and left her a fortune in money and the land too but it is stolen from her by a wicked governess. Instead of being raised as a wealthy young woman she is forced to work as a servant for the one who stole her wealth.
Despite her misfortunes Maria is a happy young woman who finds her way into the hearts of those around her and especially the people in the local village. One young man in the village finds her particularly attractive. He has strange powers that he uses to help Maria.
At the same time Maria is reunited with her childhood sweetheart and together they seek to recover Maria’s lost fortune and establish a life together
