Plot Summary/Synopsis
A story of good and evil, Cuna de Lobos revolves around the lives of the Larios family. When Carlos Larios, the head of a prominent pharmaceutical company known as Lar Creel uncovers a dreadful family secret, he pays for his discovery with his life. In order prevent the world from finding out about her twisted plot to destroy her stepson’s life, the evil Catalina Larios murders her husband. With Carlos dead and out of the way, Catalina makes it her life’s mission to ensure that her stepson, Jose Carlos, fails in all of his endeavors and that her biological son, Alejandro, becomes wealthy and powerful. But in order to attain the riches, Alejandro must meet the requirements of his late father’s will, which states that whichever brother produces a son first will gain complete control of Lar Creel. Catalina’s favorite son is married, but his wife, Vilma, is infertile. In order to secure the family fortune, Catalina, Alejandro, and Vilma concoct a diabolical scheme. Alejandro impregnates an unsuspecting woman named Leonora Navarro and then passes the child off as Vilma’s. The plot takes a dramatic twist when the grief-stricken Leonora vows to recover her son, Edgar. Leonora falls in love with the compassionate Jose Carlos, and the two seek revenge on Alejandro and Catalina.
