Plot Summary/Synopsis

In English the title translates as Beautiful Girl and that refers to Paula. She is the prettiest girl in the neighborhood and she dreams of becoming a dancer. A sudden and brief meeting with Diego, a handsome and wealthy young man will lead to other things in Paula’s future.

When they do meet again the passion and love is strong enough that they decide to start a life together. They plan to run away to New York but during the trip Paula is caught carrying drugs and she spends the next five years in prison.

After five years her rich young man has disappeared and she cannot locate him but fate brings them back together again however it may be too late for he is about to marry. But once again there is a twist in the tale and Diego finds himself helping his stepbrother to win the heart of Paula without realizing who the girl is that his stepbrother loves.

His efforts are so effective that Paula agrees to marry the stepbrother.
