Plot Summary/Synopsis

Amores Cruzados is the story of identity and secrets. The plot focuses on the lives of four young protagonists: Alejandro, Diego, Maria, and Elisa. The adventure begins when the wealthy Alejandro and the humble Diego switch identities. Between mistaken identities, secret love affairs, and ulterior motives, the characters each have something to hide. As each character becomes more and more caught up in his or her web of lies, their lives become increasingly interconnected. While they struggle to keep their secrets, Alejandro, Diego, Maria, and Elisa also struggle to find romance. How can the characters be true to those they love when they are not true to themselves? Amores Cruzados explores the complexity of relationships and the quest to find one’s true identity.
